Terica Doyle Named Assistant Principal of the Year

Doyle  Recently, Terica Doyle, was named the Shawnee Region of the Illinois Principals Association's Assistant Principal of the Year.

-Ensures the school climate is positive and reflects high staff and student morale.  He or she demonstrates creativity and imagination to bring about positive change.

-Is willing to take risks to improve student learning, move actively to implement the goals and objectives of the school and works collaboratively with teachers and other staff to improve the educational program and student achievement.

-Anticipates emerging problems and acts effectively to resolve them and involves the community in the life of the school and uses community resources for students.

Mrs. Doyle's award comes on the heels of last year when CCHS's Daniel Booth and Stephanie Finke were named the Shawnee Region's Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year respectively.

The Shawnee Region of the Illinois Principals Association comprises the southernmost 11 counties in Illinois.
