 NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

MANRRS: Today, MANRRS will be selling donuts during lunch A & Bv for $2. We will have glazed, chocolate, and sugar donuts available. These are hand-made at a local bakery of one of our members and are AMAZING (Friday, January 28th).

STUDENTS:  Please be sure to complete the Perkins V survey that was emailed to you by Mr. Terry.  It is important to have your input for Career Education program.

TONIGHT’S BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME is neon night.  Wear your brightest outfit and support the Terriers!

HALF PRICE BLEACHER BUM SHIRTS!  Stop on by the student activities office to buy a Bleacher Bum shirt for $5.  Buying the shirt will get you into the remaining home winter sporting events for free.

ATTENTION ALL CERAMICS STUDENTS FROM 1ST SEMESTER.  Please come get your work left over from fall semester. Any work not picked up by TODAY, Friday, January 28th will be thrown away.

MONDAY NIGHT home girls' basketball game is a black out.  Let's fill the stands on senior night!

APPLICATIONS FOR AP SOCIAL STUDIES CLASSES will remain open until Monday 3:00 pm. To register, go to the CCHS website and click on the academics tab. Then click on the social studies department tab. At the bottom of the page, there is a Google link with two questions.

ATTENTION SENIORS: Cap and Gown pictures will be taken in the foyer of the gym on Tuesday, February 1st during all Civics & AP Gov classes.  Check your CCHS email for more information.

ART CLUB will meet every other Wednesday after school in A100 from 3:00-4:00. Our next meeting will be next week on February 2nd.  Come join us and bring a friend!

ATTENTION CCHS! The Speech Team is having a 'regional team showcase' on Wednesday, February 2nd from 5:30 until 8:30 PM in the auditorium. Students will be performing their speeches and plays that are entered into the IHSA state series. Show your support and cheer them on as they prepare for Regionals. Go Terriers!

ATTENTION JUNIORS & SENIORS: Check your email for information about how to participate in Volleybro on February 24th.  Proceeds from the game will go to the Franks family.

AUDITIONS FOR THE TERRIER TALENT SHOW will take place next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the choir room after school 3:15pm-5:00pm.  Only a few audition spots remain! Check your CCHS email for the link to sign-up for an audition next week.  See Mrs. Jones in the yearbook office with any questions.

HEY TERRIER FANS!  We have some home events coming up and we hope you are ready to Cheer!  Please remember the following policies:  bring your school ID or show Tyler from your phone at the door to come to the games.  No backpacks, outside food and drinks are allowed.  If you leave the game, you cannot re-enter.  Let’s go support our Terriers!

10th/11th Graders - 112

Today will decide who wins the competition, so make sure you are getting to class on time Terriers!

PINK OUT T-SHIRTS: Only one week remains to purchase a Pink Out t-shirt for the Pink Out Basketball game on Friday, February 11th.  Drop completed order forms and $10 payment off in the Principal's Office anytime 8am-3pm.  Please bring exact change if paying with cash.  Proceeds from shirt sales will go to the Coach Kill Cancer Fund.

ATTENTION JUNIORS who applied to our school-based work program, Cooperative Education - Please be sure to check your email for a link from Mrs. Jamieson to sign up for your mini-interview.  Failure to schedule and show up to your interview will disqualify you from being considered for the program next year.  Please email Mrs. Jamieson or drop by G105 if you have questions! 

CARBONDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT has teamed up with CCHS to offer a special job shadowing program to students.  Learn more about fire protection and service, go on fire calls, and gain experience and training in the field.  Pick up applications and learn more from Mrs. Jamieson in G105!

CREDIT RECOVERY for required class failures from last semester will start today (Tuesday) and Thursday from 3:15 pm-4:45 pm for this semester.  Please report to room B202 in the Library by 3:15. The late bus is running if you need transportation.

TRACK AND FIELD: Track and Field will resume workouts this week on Tuesdays/Thursday from 3:20-5:30 pm. We will meet outside the driver Ed room and be prepared to go outside.
