ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A CHANCE TO WIN A HOMECOMING TICKET? To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Spanish Club is hosting a school-wide Bingo Game! Starting today, Monday, September 20th, stop by either Ms. Rendon's room (J107) or Ms. Lopez's room (C114) to pick up a bingo card. Find biographies posted around the school to fill out the cards! 2 biographies will be posted per day beginning on Monday through October 1. Fill in your bingo card until you get 5 boxes in a row.  Return the completed bingo card to J107 or C114.  The last chance to pick up a card to play will be Wednesday, September 22nd!  Good luck!

Please sign up on the Junior Class Bulletin Board located behind the Gray Room in the H Hallway for this Friday's Home Game vs. Cahokia. Don’t forget…you will receive $5 off of your Prom ticket for every game worked!

CONGRATULATIONS TO NATALIE MARTIN AND BRANDON SCOTT-RIVERS.  They were voted in as president and vice president of the Terrier Historical Society!  Congrats to you both. 

 CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TERRIER TEAMS on Victories last weekend.  The Girl Tennis team went 8-1 vs. Marion last Tuesday!  Boys Soccer defeated Sikeston 1-0, the Terrier Football team dominated Centralia 38-14, and the Terrier Volleyball team placed 3rd in Charleston with MeiKayla Graham and Brooke Williard making the all-tournament team!   Great job Terriers!

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB: Creative Writing Club will be meeting today, Monday, September 20th, after school in Ms. Bachman's room, C213. 

SPEECH TEAM: Hey speech team! Our team meeting will be Tuesday, September 21st, after school in Frau Bassett's room J109. This meeting has some important information, and you should try to attend! Email Frau Bassett if you have a conflict. See you after school on Tuesday!

STUDENT COUNCIL will have a meeting Tuesday, September 21st at 3:10 pm-4:00 pm in the cafeteria.  We will be discussing homecoming spirit week dress up themes and doing a homecoming related community service project.

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS: there will be a meeting in the library at 3:15 on Tuesday, September 21st with your club sponsor, Ms. Bachman. We will be planning for the Homecoming Hallway Decorations. Any, and all seniors interested in helping are welcome to join. Please email Ms. Bachman with any questions or ideas if you can't make it. 

KEY CLUB: If you are interested in joining Key Club, you can pick up application forms from Mrs. Peters in the Media Center. Forms and club dues will need to be turned in by tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21st. 

MINORITY STUDENT COUNCIL will meet on Tuesday, September 21st in Mrs. Allen's room, room C201. Make sure you are in attendance so that you are informed about upcoming events we will be participating in. A special guest will be in attendance. The meeting starts at 3:15! You don't want to miss out!

BLEACHER BUMS, please check your CCHS email for the RSVP link to Friday night's tailgate before the start of the home football game against Cahokia.  You must complete the RSVP form by Wednesday, September 22nd at 4 pm to be counted for the event.

FCCLA will meet Wednesday, September 22nd and Thursday, September 23rd after-school in Mrs. Jordan's room (G 105).

INTERNATIONAL CLUB will meet on Thursday, September 23rd, at 3:15 pm in room G105 (Jamieson).

STUDENTS:  Are you interested in the chance to win a free dress and shoes for Homecoming this year?  The Women of Action Chapter at SIU is putting on an essay contest.  The winner of the contest will win a new homecoming dress and shoes!  All entries must be submitted by September 20th. Please visit the Attendance Office for more details on how you can win!

20 pre-ordered Bleacher Bum shirts still need to be picked up in the Student Activities Office before school, at lunch, or after school. Extra shirts are available to purchase for $10.

ART CLUB will meet this Thursday, September 23rd, after school in the art room.

BUY YOUR CCHS DIAL YEARBOOK by Sunday, September 26th to be entered in a drawing for two free homecoming tickets and a $25 restaurant gift card.  The drawing will take place from all students who have bought a yearbook by September 26th.  Go to www.balfour.com or stop by the student activities office to purchase for $65.

LATE BUS: A late bus is available to a few designated drop-off locations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  It leaves the Giant City entrance at 5:00pm.  Information for the bus drop-off locations can be found at the Giant City entrance, attendance office, Terrier Tutoring/Credit Recovery areas and CCHS website.

SAVE THE DATE- 2021 HOMECOMING DANCE, Fairy Tales: Under the Stars will take place on Saturday, October 9th from 8pm-11pm on Bleyer Field.  Tickets will be sold the week before the dance for $15.  All CCHS fees/fines must be paid in order to purchase a ticket.  More details will be announced soon!

DIAL YEARBOOK: Over 75 pre-ordered 2021 DIAL Yearbooks have not been picked up.  Stop by the yearbook office (across from Terrier Care) before school, during lunch, or after school to pick up your yearbook.

STUDENT I.D.’S: Before school, during lunch, or after school, go down to Counseling and have your picture taken for your student I.D. The entire process takes just a couple of minutes.

A few extra copies of the 2021 DIAL Yearbook are available for purchase for $65.  Stop by the yearbook office to buy.
