Media Center

The Media Center is a vibrant meeting and learning space at CCHS. The Media Center is open 7:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Monday and Fridays. A full-time librarian and assistant are available to help with research questions and recommendations for reading. Computers and word processing software are accessible during all open hours. We maintain an extensive collection of young adult and adult fiction with a focus on supplementing the high school curriculum and instilling a lifelong love of reading in our students. Students may check out up to three books at a time. Books are checked out for 2 weeks at a time, and may be renewed either one or two times, depending on the type of book. Patrons may access materials from other libraries within the Illinois Heartland Library System via interlibrary loan. We also maintain an ebook and audio book collection through the IHLS Cloud library.
