Transportation: Limited bus transportation will be available at 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. from specific pickup locations. Students should sign up on the first day of class, if they wish to use the service, and the bus will start Tuesday morning. We will have several general locations such as Unity Point School, De Soto, and Erma Hayes Center. There will be no home pickups during the summer. Locations will be determined on Monday and students will be informed of pickup schedules before they leave on Monday. Students must use their own transportation on Monday, June 8th.

Incentives for Summer Enrichment Program

Any student with PERFECT ATTENDANCE in THREE or more classes will be entered in a drawing for prizes such as:

Graphing Calculator
MP3 Player
USB Flash Drive
Digital Camera
Gift Certificates $20 to $50

All students will receive a T-shirt.

The Cafeteria will be serving Breakfast and Lunch

The “Closed Campus Policy” will be in effect for those attending summer school all day. The cafeteria will be serving breakfast and lunch throughout June. Breakfast will be served between 8:00 and 8:30 for $1.00, and Lunch will be around noon at a cost of $1.50. If a student qualifies for reduced lunch, the prices are $.30 and $.40 respectively, and the free lunch program will also be in effect.

Morning and Afternoon snacks will be provided.

Those taking credit courses during the summer are also invited to sign up for SEP classes. All regular summer school classes (Government, Driver’s Ed) are over by noon. So those students can sign up for SEP classes from 1:00 to 3:00. Driver’s Education students may sign up for one morning session to complement their Driver’s Ed class.

We will have signs and helpers to direct students to classes. Students do not need to bring supplies with them.
