February 25th, 2010 - We held a Career Fair at the Carbondale High School! It was a resounding success with
over 350 kids and 60 presenters! Local businesses donated door prizes!

Developing this career guidance site, as well as orchestrating the Virtual Job Fair at CCHS, is the project of Senior Girl Scout Dara Jumoke Weaver-Holmes in fulfillment of earning her Gold Award, the highest award a girl scout can earn, and Jackson County Girl Scout Troop 8192. Dara thanks Carbondale Community High School for hosting this site. Content and site model credit goes to Dara and to State Career Clusters and Career Zone. The web site consultant for this project is Sunny Kerr of Sunsational Design.
Dara wishes to thank Mrs. Sandy Brown, Director of the CCHS Guidance staff , the Guidance Staff and SIUC Intern Jenny Rabideau for helping to make the Career Fair a successful event.
